Donations Policy

At the Global Justice Network Foundation, we believe in transparency regarding the use of donor contributions. Our donations policy is designed to ensure clarity about how your generosity will be utilized. We solicit funds for specific campaigns as well as for discretionary purposes, clearly indicating the purpose of each fundraising initiative.

Campaign-Specific Funds

For campaigns or initiatives addressing human rights violations, we will:

1. Clearly communicate the purpose of the funds being raised.
2. Specify the target amount required. If a precise figure is unavailable, we will provide a reasonable estimate, which may be adjusted as costs become more apparent.
3. Conclude fundraising efforts once the required amount is achieved.
4. Allocate the funds exclusively for the specified campaign. Should we exceed the fundraising target, any surplus will be placed in our campaign reserve for current or future initiatives at the discretion of the Global Justice Network Board.

Refund Policy

Refunds for donations are generally not feasible due to two main reasons:

1. Certain platforms, like Facebook or PayPal, may permit tax relief claims on donations, meaning we cannot refund those contributions. If a refund is necessary, you may be able to claim it through the platform used for the donation.
2. Once funds have been utilised, they cannot be refunded.

That said, we will address each refund request with compassion and consideration.
